What is Catholic Schools Week?

Catholic Schools Week is a national celebration of Catholic education and an opportunity to recognize the importance, the value, and the contributions of Catholic education to the Church and the world. Catholic Schools Week is sponsored by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA).

An annual tradition that began in 1974, Catholic schools across the nation commemorate Catholic Schools Week with celebrations, Masses, open houses, and activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members. Catholic Schools Week events showcase and celebrate the rich traditions and the incredible value of Catholic education on both a local and national level.

Each year, Catholic Schools Week is celebrated during the last week of January. This year, Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated from January 27th through February 2nd.

Trinity’s PR and Marketing Committee will be featuring several articles on Trinity teachers and staff. Based on the popular Bravo TV show Inside the Actor’s Studio starring James Lipton, our version called Inside the Trinity Studio will highlight a select group of faculty members by asking the subject 10 questions requiring one-word answers. It is challenging for the interviewee and fun for the reader. We hope you enjoy this interesting look at one of Trinity’s leaders, Mrs. Mary Glagola, Trinity Parent and former Board of Trustees member.

Mary Glagola is a former Chair and Vice Chair of the Trinity Board of Trustees and a current Director of Marketing, IT, Public Relations and Human Resources for a Private Equity Firm. All three of her children attended/graduated from Trinity; the last, Katie is an 8th Grader and was part of the first Trinity preschool class. Mary has been a member of the Trinity Family for 14 years
